absolutely stunning lunch. the special cocktails were excellent. perfectly balanced and unique without being gimmicky. every single bite was delish. creative layering of aromen and spot performance. the outfits for us were the fried aubergine (creous golden kisses of the melt in their mouth-likeness) and the burned grapefruit and tonic snow dessert, which is an unexpected (I say blown,) extremely charming combination... What Jennifer Beck doesn't like about Cúrate:
Waited over an hour to be jammed down at the end of the bar. Shrimp were bad (bitter and tasted of ammonia. TURNED bad) Jamon was WAY TOO salty and at $25 for 5 teeny tiny slices was super over priced. Chorizo wrapped in potato was greasy and overcooked..also...super salty. The pepper and goat cheese was ok but was something I can make at home. What a sad disappointment. Perhaps we ordered several of their not so gre... View all feedback.
Absolutely incredible. This restaurant brings back fond memories of a recent trip to Madrid. Everything we had was simply delicious! Trout was maybe the best trout I've ever had... loved the wines, the sherry, and the goat cheese desert... service was exceptional, absolute must visit!
My husband and I weren’t able to book a reservation, so we took a chance walking in. We waited an hour for a table, and I am so glad we did! Wonderful, unique and expertly prepared food and cocktails! 10/10! Highly recommend!! These awards were earned for a reason, and this place is delicious. Thank you Jim for spot-on recommendations, and many compliments to the chefs! Super good meal.
Best authentic Spanish food this side of the pond. Always pretty full but you can drop by and put your name on the list for the bar and watch the action. Amazing food, really. Worth the price and the wait. Friendly ambiance and not too noisy.
This is as close to Barcelona as you can get in the states. Excellent vermouth, interesting wine list and food that rivals what we ate in Spain. Don’t skip dessert! On our last visit they were kind enough to bring one out on the house for our anniversary, complete with a candle. Reservations are a must but don’t be discouraged. I’ve found that if you get on the eating list, you’re likely to have an opening pop up. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
