This is a beautiful old building with individual shops for artisans. Unfortunately many were closed on Sunday and many storefronts are vacant. Those who were open had eclectic jewelry, pottery, original art, and my favorite, a handcrafted hatstore. It was so nice to stroll from shop to shop while being protected from the weather. It would be nice to see this locationcompletely filled. View all feedback.
What Lacey Beier doesn't like about Carmel's Restaurant Bar At The Grove Arcade:
Don?t let the name confuse you, this is not an arcade. There were many shops and boutiques. Just to describe a few: finger food and drinks, female clothing, art, rocks, fine jewelry, and a few others. Well-maintained and cared for, the Grove Arcade is a stunning testament to a bygone era's idea of a unified shopping experience. Take some time to learn about the building's history before your visit; it will give you a deeper appreciation for the journey it has undergone to reach its current state. While many of the shops may be a bit pricey for our budget, they certainly complement the building’s elegant style. Overall, it's a fascinating piece of history that is well worth a visit, if only to stroll through and admire.
This is a lovely historic building featuring unique artisan shops. Unfortunately, many of them were closed on Sunday, and there were several empty storefronts. However, those that were open offered a delightful selection of eclectic jewelry, pottery, original artwork, and my favorite—a handcrafted hat shop. It was a pleasure to stroll from shop to shop while being sheltered from the weather. I hope to see this location fully occupied one day.
This is a fantastic venue with AMAZING ARCHITECTURE! While the shops weren't really to my taste, I thoroughly enjoyed spending an hour admiring the intricate details of the interior design. The entire place was spotless and impeccably maintained.
Interesting architecture. Chilled here for a bit waiting to visit Asheville pinball museum

The building has many access points from all sides and is not overwhelming.
