Buzzing local vibe with many families enjoying time together. So welcoming with outstanding service even during busy times. Great outdoor and indoor seating drinks, nice wine and beer and tapas. A little gem overlooking a small plaza. Staff are wonderful and so welcoming

Huge portion sizes and great value. The tortilla was how it should be and the pan con tomate was made using fresh tomatoes. Really good breakfast before heading off on the Camino!

Having popped in for a quick drink post dinner I was disappointed by an obvious over charge for our drinks. 4 vinos €16 instead of €6!!!! Whilst it is possible a mistake could have been made I really believe this was a deliberate scam to earn a quick tenner!!!! Fortunately my Spanish is sufficient and after complaining it was quickly reimbursed! Pilgrims beware I hate this sharp practise!!

The lomo and arzua cheese bocadillo was really good. My friend ordered the fried eggs with Fries and chorizo. It is a very popular dish all over spain, and I have been with him dozens of times when he has enjoyed it. He ordered it at this restaurant today, and could not cut the chorizo with his serrated knife. Nor could he even pierce it with a fork. When he told the waitress the problem she was disgusted and said that's the way it should be. My friend said you should be able to cut it. She then grabbed his knife and fork and tried to cut it herself. She had to use her entire body weight which is considerable to Bear Down On It. She was finally able to break it partially open but not slice it. She then said there was nothing wrong with it and forcefully tossed the knife and fork onto the table. We just let it go because in addition to this problem with service, we knew the situation was hopeless because she was also extremely rude throughout the entire experience. When my friend asked about dessert, she said why don't you just go across the street and order it. It is important to understand that both of us travel in Spain frequently and are always flexible and respectful to the wait staff. This was just an isolated and bizarre experience.
