It’s not the firs... read more Came for a girls’ pre-Christmas lunch (turned out to be a three course meal! Lovely friendly staff, excellent choice of food, delicious meal. It’s not the first time we’ve been and it certainly won’t be the last. Highly recommended.

However, one of our group members ordered the Treakelschwammpudding and was disappointed. She found it to be dry and lacking in syrup. When she requested more syrup, it was served in a small pot that was too hot to touch and difficult to pour. Unfortunately, she described the pudding as "terrible", which was disappointing considering how good the first course was.
