Had the woodsid... read more Went for lunch with a friend. Lovely retro interior decor and layout. The owner and staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Music is great too. Had the woodside burger with fries (delicious properly made burger). I forgot to mention my food allergy (which is life threatening and I did not have my epipens with me) when I flagged it to the staff my food had already been cooked and although there was only a small chance of cross contamination they not only cleaned down everything, they redid my order and managed to be really nice about it. Couldn't recommend this place more highly, will definitely eat there again.

This is so good we even got a carry out to have the following day....I have done this before with a kebab from 'the Spinx ' in Belfast but Armagh isn 't that fa... read more This is so good we even got a carry out to have the following day....I have done this before with a kebab from 'the Spinx ' in Belfast but Armagh isn 't that far away. The chicken in some of the dishes is done this way as well which I will try when my addiction to the beef wanes a little. The gravy is unbelievable and if you ask Tony he will probably give you the recipe if you wan...but it is time-consuming and from the aged meat slowly cooking...hmmmm...I think it has coke and Worcestershire sauce. The burgers taste too good to be the usual from the one wholesaler in NI that supplies almost every eating establishment making them the same the same and again the same. Support the restaurants that are a little different and support local butchers and in doing so don 't just churn out the same acceptable but unexciting food. The taste brings you back not the photographs of what looks good and the taste keeps bringing me back here!
