Nestled in the heart of Armagh, Uluru Bar and Grill has quickly become a culinary gem, winning over diners with its warm ambiance and attentive service. While the online menu initially raises concerns for vegan diners, the restaurant offers a dedicated vegetarian and vegan menu upon arrival. Guests rave about the delicious dishes, including a standout goat cheese salad and creamy mushroom risotto, complemented by a well-curated wine selection. Perfect for casual lunches or special occasions, the restaurant promises a delightful experience, making it a must-visit destination for anyone in search of exceptional food and atmosphere in Northern Ireland.

We struggled to find something in armagh with vegan items that are marked on the menu online. Tourist info kindly informed me that this place had vegan options on the dinner menu. they are not online and the online menu is a carnivore and pretty hard to read to be honest. at the arrival there was a vegetarian/vegan menu in the foyer, so that we sneak in. we were able to book a table, but it is definitely worth a booking as they were fairly booked. there were three starters and three nets. I ordered the victories and was then informed that they were not vegan. we shared flatbread and noodle starter. the flatbread was delicious. the noodles were delicious, but a bit oily and swirling for me. I had served the day with bread and rice. it was good to get a lot nice and there was a nice sweet / nutty feeling on the top that added a welcome texture to the court that was quite simple. the brownie was delicious, served warm with obst and large enough to share. our coffee order has been rushed so we were thrilled when the waitress remembered and offered soy or mandelmilch without asking. the few sips of merlot were good and also coffee nice. I would recommend this place. beautiful ambiente and grown decoration also. pity that it does not say on their website about catering for vegan diets.

I want to try the restaurant uluru for ever since it has moved to the new location of the market street. I have the opportunity today to do exactly that when I met a friend for lunch in pooragh. I liked uluru, an Australian bistro, now I love it even more! the new restaurant is warm, welcoming and beautifully designed. service was great, wein beautiful and eat luscious. I had a wonderfully delicious goat cheese salad (cheese mousse, poched pears, roasted beet root and mini poppadome) accompanied by a side of hand-cut chips. all were washed with a few glasses of beautiful, smooth chardonnay. Heavenly eating. uluru still offers a separate, dedicated vegetarian menu that is good to see and I cannot wait to taste all vegetarian dishes. Top brands to uluru, which I now appreciate, are one of the best restaurants in northern Ireland. I would recommend this brilliant restaurant, it is definitely worth the trip to armagh for a brunch, lunch or dinner. since happy cow will be awarded only 4 out of 5 stars to a restaurant that serves meat (what I completely agree) I will point out that I would give this restaurant 5 stars if I could how to eat fabulous. would highly recommend uluru. updated by previous review on Friday, 1st January 2016

I want to give a big thank you to everyone at Uluru Bar and Grill. It was very easy to arrange a surprise meal with them. They always checked in to see if there was anything else they could do to make our experience better. We had a fantastic night with delicious food and excellent service.

Uluru is a good three-star restaurant that offers food at a reasonable price point. My companion and I ended up here by chance, as our original choice, Embers, turned us away due to reservations. Uluru greeted us warmly and took good care of us during our meal. I decided to try something different and ordered a burger with chips for £16. The chips were hand-cut, but unfortunately, I did not enjoy them as they were not cooked at the right temperature and did not taste fresh. However, my venison burger topped with Brie was tasty and my wife enjoyed her beef burger. The meal included two burgers, chips, two cappuccinos, and a glass of wine for a total of £50. While the food was tasty, it was not a bargain. In a time where energy costs are dropping, customers may choose to cook at home or opt for fast food options instead. It is important to remember who is responsible for the economic situation that led us here.

Visited Uluru with my partner and parents on a Friday night. Had the most gorgeous meal few of us had steaks that were cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and Service was 10/10 staff couldn’t have been more attentive. On this night they were doing a 50% off menu which was unreal with the current cost of living crisis we were happily surprised when the bill came as we definitely got a great meal for great value. Will definitely be back.
