The Garden Room - Argyll Bute

I was able to choose from a great selection of dishes at this restaurant. I opted for the spicy haggis fritters, while my girlfriend had the pea and ham soup. Both dishes were generously sized and delicious. The Supreme of Chicken main course was also excellent, as were the desserts. The service was fast and attentive.

I can't believe it! I went to this restaurant for dinner and the portions were so small. I paid £17.50 for only 4 small pieces of lamb, 2 carrots, 2 green beans, and 2 roast potatoes cut into 4. What a rip-off! If you're hungry, do not go here. Even a baby would get more food for dinner. I understand times are tough, but ripping people off is not the way to go.

We organised a family lunch at the Rosslea Hall Hotel in celebration of my dad's life this week. Abbie was very helpful in arranging our day which ran very smoothly. We had coffee on arrival, then we left to scatter my Dad's ashes. On our return we had drinks in the bar, followed by a 3 course meal in the restaurant. Abbie and her team were excellent everything we had agreed was in place, the food and service was excellent and it made for a memorable day for all the right reasons.
