Staff were very friendly and helpful, id say the Inn is budget and average pub grub food. Nice decent crispy chips served with one meal, then the next night oven chips? which were left uneaten. For the prices id expect better food, salad was quite sad tbh. Inn is trying on the food front but sadly failing and below par. I wouldn't eat here again unless reviews starting glowing, so to say but disappointing food.
We had a fantastic few days, post new year, the glamping pod at the Coylet Inn. An amazing little cosy space with outstanding views! The Coylet Inn itself was brilliant! Great food, lovely regulars and a roaring open fire. Also super dog friendly which is a must for us. Bonnie was made so welcome. We’re already plotting a return!
Very disappointed, restaurant empty apart from one other couple so no atmosphere at all. Not what we expected the week before Christmas. The food very poor, medium rare steak was well done and oven chips with a sad side salad. Not good. We also waited 40 minutes for our food which was a long time considering there were only 2 tables to serve. Such a shame because beautiful location and lovely old building. Could be fabulous with a good chef.
