Welcome to The Coylet Inn, a charming establishment nestled on the picturesque Loch Eck in Dunoon, Argyll, Scotland. Owned by Carl and Sandra since August 2020, The Coylet is not just a place to eat and drink; it's a destination steeped in history and warmth. Carl's enduring love for this beautiful area dates back over 30 years, and he has always felt a deep connection to the Cowal peninsula. We also offer four beautifully themed double rooms, three of which boast stunning views of the loch, and one with a serene hillside perspective. Each room comes equipped with ensuite bathrooms to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. We're pleased to be dog-friendly too, so feel free to bring your furry companions along! We stopped by this charming old house for breakfast on a whim. The hospitality from the owner was outstanding and uncomplicated. The interior of the house is a must-see, allowing you to immerse yourself in its rich history dating back to 1650. I was absolutely thrilled by the experience.

We stopped for dinner while staying at the caravan park next door. The staff was friendly and provided good service. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a nice pint with views of Loch Eck.
