I only had b... read more The dining area was very clean, spacious, and the bathroom facilities were excellent with a hot tub-like bath equipped with a great bubble machine. I only had breakfast during my visit and I was impressed. There was a fantastic fish and chip shop within walking distance, which was top-notch. Parking was free on the street in a quiet area. One thing that stood out was the excellent customer service - I accidentally left some items in the room and after calling, I received them back in the mail within a week. I will definitely be returning and look forward to it.

It turned out to be a good choice.The staff were very helpful and carried our bags on arrival and when leaving. The room was small but adequate , it had all we needed even a view towards the sea. The bed was comfortable and a good height Guests with back problems No need to struggle). The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. The service was prompt and courteous. All in all it was a very pleasant quiet stay and we would go again

We received a friendly welcome at reception an... read more I arrived at the Park Hotel in Dunoon to attend the Cowal Games. The hotel is not luxurious, which I appreciated. We received a friendly welcome at reception and our bags were taken to our room. The room was very nice and met our needs perfectly. After the games, we went back to the hotel for a drink at the lovely bar where we met other guests and had a chat. The breakfast menu was fantastic, offering a full Scottish breakfast as well as smoked salmon, haddock with poached eggs. The breakfast was excellent and I would highly recommend this hotel. I want to thank the staff for their excellent service. I accidentally left my wedding ring in the room and when I called the hotel, they found it and promptly mailed it back to me the next day. I was very grateful for their honesty and efficiency. I'm starting to regret not leaving a bigger tip, but I need to relax and not get carried away.

Our window had a view of the... read more We stayed at this hotel overnight from Sunday to Monday on May 5th and 6th, 2019. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very nice. Our window had a view of the Firth of Clyde and the bathroom was clean with a shower. We had dinner at the hotel and it was excellent with a wide variety of options. They also had a bar where you could wait for your table. Rasheed checked us in, showed us to our room, served us at the bar and in the restaurant, and was very attentive. We had a good night's sleep and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. There were options for cereal, fruit juices, yogurt, or a full Scottish breakfast with toast, tea, and coffee. There were other breakfast choices as well. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Taking into consideration £59 with breakfast. You will then bypass the lack of perfection in your room. Beds are comfortable. Pillows..this is a personal choice by people but a bit lumpy. Bathroom is nearly perfect. Showers are a bit dated but spotless. In fact the room was extremely clean especially the bathroom. I found the sofa should be ditched and perhaps a few tub chairs and a table at the window would be a welcomed addition. The furniture is tired. Well used. But in saying this you dont want for anything. You have more tea. Coffee. Milk than you would get in any well known establishment. You have an owner and staff who actually cares and does everything in her power to help you while staying here. The breakfast ...I have to say was an excellent surprise. There is so much choice and much more again than you would be offered in any well known establishments. The service with that is prompt courteous and of a high standard. Coffee is fresh served in a cafetiere. At breakfast I commented on the variety. The condiments and the thought put into this and wondered how any profit could be made. It was of a 4 star standard. Best sausages I have ever had in a hotel. Unfortunately for us Dunoon is not a place we would ever return. BUT if you are there. £3.20 in a taxi gets you into the main street from the Park Hotel if like us you hate walking in the rain. The menu for.an evening meal looks great and if the breakfast is anything to go by. I do not think you will be disappointed. I wish the owner and staff of the park hotel every success for their future.
