Our first time eating here but it won’t be our last. The pub is an old traditional village pub. There is a large garden area for alfresco dining, weather permitting. The menu is pretty extensive and a great selection of daily specials. The madras curry I had was one of the best I have ever tasted. My partner had an enormous portion of beautifully cooked haddock and chips. The staff were very friendly and helpful and... View all feedback.
What mfuwe doesn't like about Kilmartin And:
We were staying in a local B&B so needed an evening meal each of three nights. We had been in previous years so had no reservations (no pun intended) about booking here again. And we were not disappointed. OK the Saturday night was a bit hectic but the food was excellent as usual. Belly Pork was my choice. Superb. I even had it a second night just to be sure it was not a fluke. It was 'n 't! Staff were excellent and... View all feedback.
Fabulous meal, it was the best steak pie I have ever tasted! My daughter loved her fish and chips also, top marks Easy to book and lovely setting
During our road trip along the Argyll coast, we spent a night at this hotel. It has been serving as an inn for over three hundred years and has a lot of character. The food, hospitality, and service were fantastic. We enjoyed the bar, which was filled with locals, and felt like we were having an authentic Scottish experience. While the rooms may be a bit old-fashioned and small, the bed was very comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. This is a wonderful choice for road trippers looking for a taste of Scotland!
Came here with the family after we were up visiting relations in Arduaine. Brilliant pub/resteraunt in a great setting. Food service cold beers 10/10. Try the venison burger if its on the special board. Fantastic.

We were visiting the Museum and the nearby cairns and standing stones. The cafe in the museum was closed so we found the Kilmartin Hotel and Restaurant right across the street. We didn't know what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. We were seated quickly. The place was very busy. Looked like 2 or 3 people ran the whole place and I'm sure a lot was going on in the kitchen, but everything was very efficient. I had the steak and ale pie. Very satisfying. My wife and daughter both had the mushroom bourguignon (vegan) and they both said it was excellent. My son had a burger, which he said was very good. I was driving, Scottish country roads are insane, so I couldn't drink. I had a double espresso. Excellent experience. Perfect little Scottish restaurant/pub. I can't speak to the hotel part.
