The weekday lunch special at this restaurant is excellent. They offer a wide variety of maki rolls, with many options that do not include seafood.
This small place in Ardmore is fantastic. The food and service are outstanding.
Last night, I tried to get a table for my friend and me at 6:30pm. When we arrived, there was a disgruntled customer complaining about the wait and another customer got upset with the hostess for shooing away some girls. When we asked for a table for 2, the hostess grabbed menus and checked for availability. However, she seemed more focused on handling take-out orders that weren't ready. After finally checking the table availability, she informed us that there were multiple reservations ahead of us and we would have to wait another hour to be seated. Feeling dismissed and disorganized, my friend and I decided to leave and try a different sushi restaurant. It was disappointing, especially since I had previously enjoyed dining at this restaurant.
Thanks for making valentines day special. Service was great food was great. Will def be back again.
Sushi rice is made with a lot more sugar/sweetness than is typical and the seaweed wrap on rolls was somewhat dried out. The fish was fresh though and presentation was nice. Service was moderately slow for a holiday evening (Valentine's Day) and a full house. All of our dishes came out at different times so one of us was always waiting for the other to receive their food. They had a Help Wanted sign up so maybe just understaffed.
