It has to have zest and good seasoning.... read more For me, a good pizza has to have a great sauce. Not the kind that tastes like it came out of one of the gallon tin cans. It has to have zest and good seasoning. And the cheese has to have flavor. Eagle excels at both. I can tell when eating it that the cheese isn 't the cheapest they could find. My favorite pie here is getting the extra large (a little thinner crust than the large pie with extra sauce, and I have them make it 'golden brown ' on top. (Keeps the cheese in place with all the extra sauce. It has yet to disappoint me over the 10 years I 've been getting it. Pie is full of flavor. We never have leftovers it is so good. It isn 't the cheapest pie in Havertown, but made the way I describe above, it will be one of your top go to pizza 's when you want something better than the run of the mill stuff other places sell on Darby Rd or West Chester Pike. Been a customer here since 1984.

They really pay attention to your requests and make everything exactly how you want it. It’s a fantastic neighborhood spot for pizza, burgers, and more.
