This is a pretty solid joint. The food has always been at least above average, but nothing really stands out as being the best Chinese you can get. Nothing disappoints, but it does miss that wow factor. I've actually stopped coming here, because I go to their sit-down restaurant, Golden Bowl, a store or two down the road. View all feedback.
What Aja W doesn't like about Golden China:
After ordering takeout from this restaurant multiple times without any issues, I unfortunately had a bad experience today. I ordered dumplings and bean curd soup, but when I opened the dumplings, I found strands of hair in them. I promptly called to address the issue and requested a refund. When the manager came to process my refund, she removed the hair from my food with her bare hands and engaged in a lengthy argum... View all feedback.
I've mentioned before how easy it is to overlook reviewing the places right in your neighborhood when you visit so many restaurants. My friendly local Chinese restaurant has often provided me with a convenient option on days when I don't feel like cooking, yet it’s also one that I tend to forget about. However, it's about time I acknowledged its true quality—it's better than your average neighborhood Chinese spot. If you're in the mood for easy and affordable Americanized Chinese dishes like General Tso's Chicken, house fried rice, and egg foo young, you’ll find plenty to choose from here. But since it's run by the same team behind a more upscale sit-down Chinese restaurant, Golden Bowl, they also offer elevated choices like mango shrimp, Peking duck, and asparagus chicken. Whether I'm grabbing a quick lunch combo platter or opting for something more substantial like a Phoenix Roll and Thai mango fish filet, Golden China provides great food at a reasonable price.

The search continues.. overpriced and skimpy portions! $6.95 for coconut shrimp and my order contained a lousy 4 little shrimps! So disappointed!!
Delicious, quick, and cheap take out Chinese food. What more do you want? This will be really short since if you've had any other Chinese takeout you probably already have the menu memorized. That being said, where Golden China surpasses its competitors is the combination of price, quality, and serving sizes. My most recent order included General Tso's Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli, Crab Ragoons, and two egg rolls, which totaled about $25. In addition, to what we ordered we got two orders of white rice and a bottle of soda for being over $25. So dirt cheap and you get lots of food and I mean a ton of food. My girlfriend and I ate well for three days. And as if that wasn't good enough, the food was actually really good sweet and spicy general Tso's that was perfectly cooked, and juicy chicken cooked with fresh broccoli. Definitely order the creamy and crispy Crab Ragoons. In sum, this is my new Chinese go to spot, and if you want the most bang for your buck it should be yours too.
