We had an amazing meal at this restaurant, everything was freshly prepared and delicious. There were good options to choose from, all beautifully presented and good value for money. My partner had the haggis baguette which was simple yet filling, with a fresh baguette that seemed homemade. I tried the hummus and aubergine, which I wouldn't usually order as I can make it at home easily, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was served with a side salad and topped with dukkah and pomegranate, along with toasted bread. It was very filling and satisfying. My daughter had the waffles with blueberries, rhubarb compote, granola, and vanilla ice cream. It was a huge portion, but the quality was exceptional. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to friends. For a rural area like Argyll, where finding high quality vegan food can be challenging, this place is definitely worth a visit.
We had a really fantastic meal here, freshly prepared, tasty, good options, beautifully presented and good value. My husband had the haggis baguette-simple yet so filing with the fresh baguette. I wonder if they make their own because it wasn’t your run of the mill baguette and it wasn’t hard like shop bought can be. I had hummus and aubergine which if I’m being honest I wouldn’t usually order because it’s something I can make at home easily. I was so glad I did. It came with a lovely side salad and topped with dukkah and pomegranate and sour dough toast. Super filling and very satisfying to my tummy. My daughter had the waffles that had lots of blueberries, ruhbarb compote, granola and vanilla ice cream. It was massive but my goodness it was lush and very rich. I would definitely eat here again and bring friends. For rural Argyll (often very difficult to find quality vegan food or any at all) it is really worth going to if you re exploring mid Argyll. #Veganuary
The restaurant offers a variety of vegan options that are clearly labeled on the menu. I ordered the lentil soup and fries, followed by dairy-free ice cream for dessert.
The staff were very accommodating to get us a table for 5 people when it was busy and reservations were in place, but food was eye wateringly overpriced. Waited 45-50mins for a couple of soups and sandwiches. My Caesar sandwich had so much grease it could be rung out like a sponge, wife paid £8.50 for a toastie that was probably half a round of bread in size. Hot drinks (coffees) and Soups were decent though. Lucy's could probably benefit for some competition in the area, might bring the prices down and the level of service up.
