They only offer on street parking and it would be very hard for handicappe... read more This place is now called honey Joe's. The previous owner must have sold the business. They only offer on street parking and it would be very hard for handicapped person to access the building. The place is run down a lot of holes in the wall, old tables and chairs. They have their local following, but the food is absolutely not very good. The young waitress that took her order cannot stand still for more than a half a second all while chewing gum. As she swayed why I tried to order, I ordered their fish special for $10.95, which included a potato and side. I ordered home fries instead french fries and there was a 50 Cent up charge. The coleslaw was okay, as was the home fries. The fish was so overcooked it was like leather, and I could not hardly even swallow it, let alone chew it. My wife ordered a chop steak dinner which included a potato and a side. The waitress was demanding that she ordered a potato I had to intervene and tell the waitress my wife wanted something other than a potato. The waitress finally agree to litter order a side salad and green beans as her side there was also a 50 Cent up charge for green beans. My wife liked her dinner salad and the green beans but the chop steak was actually awful. It was so dry and Bland that she only took a couple bites. Sadly we will not be back the service and the food are horrible I hope they figure out that they should train their staff and taste the quality of their food.

Got off work and got there at 7:20 pm and was told “oh, we’re closed, we didn’t have alot of people coming in so we closed early.” There were still customers in the restaurant but we were turned away. If you want to close early change your hours. Don’t advertise your open until 8:00 pm and then not be! Won’t be coming back! Can’t trust the hours!!!
