Doesn't make us want to come back which is sad it's a great place need improvement on his part he was not busy either which makes it worse

While the place wasn't overly crowded, two out of three of our orders were mixed up. My brother-in-law had ordered a Reuben with Texas toast instead of the regular toast, but it was made incorrectly with the wrong type. He also had to remind the staff twice for Thousand Island dressing. I ordered a Texas toast burger with bacon, but unfortunately, there was no bacon on my burger, and the patty was unusually small, only covering half of the toast. I noticed the waitress was attentive while taking our orders, so I believe she did her part correctly. Our server was very helpful, though I regret not catching her name. I assured her that the mistakes weren't her fault. I've heard that The Stone Yard is under new management, but issues like these have been persistent for at least a month. I recommend looking into the kitchen operations, as they can significantly affect your business's success. Right now, I'm not very eager to come back, but I might reconsider in a few months to see if any improvements have been made.

We ordered our food and an appetizer, 1.25 hours later we had nothing, not even an appetizer or an update on our food. We left and ate at Kwik Trip. I have given this place many opportunities and supported it during COVID, unfortunately it has never gotten any better. I would only stop in only for drinks going forward as the kitchen is a train wreck. Sad because there aren't many options on the north side and they could really do well.
