Scheiners Diner - Appleton

What’s not to love?! The service was outstanding, thanks to our friendly and attentive server. We were seated at a front table where we could watch a woman cooking breakfast for every table in the restaurant. At one point, she had nine orders up! I noticed strips of bacon going onto the griddle, freshly cooked, and my scrambled eggs were clearly made from individual eggs, not the premixed kind that many restaurants use. As pancake enthusiasts, we found these pancakes to be perfection. They came with a small cup of butter instead of those typical individually wrapped packs, and they had a delightful crispness around the edges. The American fries appeared to have been baked before being diced and fried, resulting in a firm texture that was perfectly cooked. The sausage was juicy and packed with flavor. I requested my English muffin to be toasted "dark," and it was prepared just as I asked. Although I don't drink coffee, the coffee drinkers at my table raved about its quality. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

This is a tidy little diner with excellent service! The food was enjoyable overall. However, I wasn't a fan of the American cheese slice melted on the skillet; that really took away from the meal for me. A sprinkle of shredded Colby Jack or a similar cheese would have been a nice touch. Aside from that, everything else was very good!

Classic diner with fast service and a clean interior. They nailed the food and the price was right.

The food was good. Salad ingredients were all fresh including the meat. The kids menus had perfect items. It is a small place with plenty of room. And don't get discouraged on parking, pull into the back! Service was also on point. Such a cute place. Go check it out.

The staff is always friendly and attentive, even when the dining room is completely full. The food has always been fresh, hot and served in a timely manner. Smallish place but well worth a stop.
