Our delivery was incorrect and missing items, which I understand can happen. I assumed they were just busy. When I called to ask about my options, the manager was very abrupt. He said I could either get a credit to my Pizza Hut account or place a new order, but a new order would take over an hour. I didn’t want a credit, and we couldn't eat the wrong order, so I asked him to please make a new one and said we would wait. He responded with “fine. Anything else?” I replied “no, thank you,” and he said “yeah, whatever,” then hung up on me. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews for local places, but there was no way to speak to another manager since he was the manager. Maybe he was having a bad day, but we didn’t deserve that treatment. The replacement pizza arrived about 90 minutes later—and it was cold. I suspect the staff there might not be treated or paid well. Just saying.
WARNING: DO NOT CALL TO ORDER DELIVERY. I learned this the hard way. When I called, no one answered at the store, so I was redirected to their call center. A woman took my order for delivery and said it would take an hour. Shortly after, I received a text saying someone from DoorDash was delivering my food. However, when I checked the link, I found that the call center employee had entered the wrong address, so the DoorDash driver couldn’t complete the delivery. After waiting an hour, I had to call the store again, place a new order, wait even longer, and then pick it up myself. This isn’t really Pizza Hut’s fault, but just be aware this can happen if you call to order delivery. I recommend ordering for delivery only through their website or just picking up in person.
I ordered a pizza, but it was topped incorrectly, so I requested a remake. Unfortunately, the new pizza was poorly assembled, especially given that it was supposed to fix the initial mistake. I've noticed that the quality has been slipping lately.
I received a quick response when I called the restaurant, but the gentleman who answered was a bit rude and curt. Perhaps he was having a tough day; I hope this isn't a common issue. The pizza was, as always, delicious, but unfortunately, they forgot to include the 2-liter bottle of Pepsi for the DoorDash driver. The driver couldn’t return to pick it up, so there was no way for me to get it. On a positive note, Pizza Hut did offer me a credit for my next order, which I appreciated, and the young lady who assisted me over the phone was friendly and helpful. Next time, I’ll probably choose a different Pizza Hut to avoid these complications. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
