Description

A compact, unpretentious spot celebrated for stellar pho, generous portions and strong iced coffee. Friendly, attentive staff and reasonable prices make it a neighborhood favorite; a focused menu highlights pho, pad thai, spring rolls and egg rolls. Seating is small and waits can swell at peak hours; occasional understaffing and weak air conditioning have left diners warm and impatient, and takeout is only prepared after arrival. For affordable, flavorful Vietnamese comfort food in a clean, cozy setting, it’s well worth a visit.

This is a charming little restaurant. Their pho is delicious, but my favorite dishes to order are the Pad Thai and spring rolls. The staff is very friendly, and although the space is small, it's kept clean.

This is a pretty good restaurant. It has a reasonable amount of seating, though it is still on the smaller side. I visited for lunch with my mother, and it was quite busy, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re in a rush. However, if you have time to wait, the pho is outstanding, and the portions are generous even for the regular size. While the menu is limited, it's clear that they focus on perfecting what they serve. Overall, I’m likely to return because the food was fantastic and the service was friendly.

My husband and I both ordered the beef pho, but we were disappointed by the lack of meat. There were only three to four small pieces of beef and half a sliced meatball in the bowl. The broth was good, though. I placed a to-go order, but they don’t start preparing the food until you arrive. The chef, who was the only person working there, initially told me it would take 20 minutes to prepare our meals, then updated that to 15 minutes. The only part that requires cooking is the noodles, which were ready in about seven minutes. He explained that they don’t start working on takeout orders until the customer arrives due to past experiences with people not showing up. I get the reasoning, but I wonder what would have happened if the place had been packed with customers. My 45-minute earlier order, which they said would take 20-25 minutes to prepare, would have been quite unreasonable.

I was not impressed with this restaurant. First of all, it was incredibly hot and humid today, and when we arrived, the air conditioning was hardly on. The waiter was quick to take our drink orders and process our food orders, but we ended up waiting a long time for our meals. When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing. I could have made better fried rice at home, and I had to really push myself to finish it. The pho was equally unappetizing. The only reason I came here was because my favorite restaurant, Star Anise, was closed for vacation.

I just ordered delivery from EatStreet from here. I typically will not order delivery that's over 25 with the tip and amount of food I get, so I figured I'd try this restaurant. Long story short this place has the biggest bang for your . I ordered a full bowl of beef pho and 3 spring rolls for 18 (tips included). I got huge bowl of pho and the egg rolls were very fresh and tasty! Compared to other restaurants iv looked up I would have paid more for half the amount of food. I will be ordering from here again. I still have leftovers for another meal for the 20 I spent here.
