Excellent service and great food. Sushi bar isn't always available, but that's fine. Just a warning for those specifically interested in it.
Revisited Koreana after being away for a couple of years. Restaraunt was quiet on a Thursday evening. There was no problem seating our party of three. The sushi bar was not operating, assume something to do with Covid. We had the rock bowls and we were satisfied with the dish. They were out of a few things but we were satisfied with our selections. Service was prompt as expected.
I've been unable to place an order by phone or online for days now. I tried using EatStreet right after the restaurant opened, but it showed that they were 'closed' and unavailable. I've also called the provided phone number several times during their business hours, but my calls always get cut off with a message saying that my call didn’t go through. I’ve reached out via Facebook Messenger to ask how to place a pick-up order, but have received no response. It seems like the only option is to order in person and wait for the food to be prepared, which defeats the whole purpose of pick-up. Additionally, their website hasn't been functional for weeks, and there’s no clear ordering or contact information available anywhere.
I found the prices on the menu to be excessively high, and unfortunately, nearly all of the dishes we tried were overcooked. Strangely, half of what we ordered tasted like cream cheese, despite only one of the items actually being cream cheese-based. Out of the $100 we spent, the Korean dumplings were the standout dish. The waiter was very friendly at first, but things took a turn when we inquired about one of the ingredients. We could hear the chefs in the back making derogatory comments about a customer’s reaction to their food. Additionally, all the dishes were quite bland and lacked any seasoning.
