Friendly manager. We were there in the middle of the afternoon, the waitress didn?t offer suggestions of options like the salad dressings or filling our water. We had to ask. The food was good, nice presentation. Almond crusted walleye was amazing. Scallops were good but only came with three and for the price, at least four would have been nice ? The mushroom, cheese and prosciutto risotto was good but heavy on the salt. Overall, the atmosphere and the manager got this review the five star.

Disappointed by the octopus dish. It was rubbery and chewy. Not my first time eating octopus and never rubbery and chewy. My husband enjoyed his burger though. My friend ord... read more Food was mostly good, though my risotto was flavorless and my partner got sick that night after his steak and weird-tasting, old-looking potatoes. My friend ordered the grilled cheese which looked and tasted amazing. I don’t know if I’ll go back, though, because after dinner I went to the bathroom where someone had wiped boogers and what I really hoped was lipgloss all over the wall of my stall. It looked like it hadn’t been deep-cleaned in ages, which made me really worry about the kitchen!

The service was equally impressive, also a solid 5. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, making it a great place to dine. I highly recommend trying the Charred Octopus—it was exceptional!

It's like a sa... read more Wonderfully creative food menu but occasionally very busy. I've gotten the butternut squash ravioli with pears and candied walnuts several times. It's like a savory dessert for dinner. I've also tried several different desserts off their new dessert menu and was not disappointed with any of them. Yum yum! I highly recommend a reservation but they will fit you in when possible, you just might have a wait. Beautiful views of the dam and water at night with wonderful exposed brick walls all over. You may even see some ducks, like we did. They were entertaining to watch playing in the water at night. Wonderful glass art pieces hanging from the ceiling in several areas and on the walls. Servers are always very friendly and willing to make menu suggestions, just ask. Food arrives promptly after ordering.

We visited in the middle of the afternoon, and unfortunately, the waitress did not offer suggestions for options such as salad dressings or refilling our water; we had to ask for them. The food was good, with nice presentation. The almond crusted walleye was amazing, but the scallops were good though only three were served, which seemed a bit lacking for the price. The mushroom, cheese, and prosciutto risotto was tasty but a bit heavy on the salt. Despite these minor issues, the atmosphere and the manager's hospitality earned this restaurant a five star review.

Although my steak wasn't cooked to my liking, they remade it for me and gave me a discount on my bill. The manager, who offered me a salad or side while they cooked the steak, was also very kind and professional. Despite it being a busy Friday night, I had a very good experience. They offer $1 off between the hours of 3-6pm, and have a great selection of wine and a nice bar area to sit at. I love the ambiance and view of the Fox River, as well as the unique design of the high top bar tables. It provides an intimate experience whether you are sharing it with someone else or just by yourself. I often bring my laptop to get some work done and have had a great experience with their wifi connection.

I heard that I have to try cheese curds while in Wisconsin, so that’s the first thing I got. They were dank as expected. Can’t really go wrong there. Next, I had somebang bang shrimp (I think it’s an appetizer). Classic fried shrimp, and the bang bang sauce was indeed bangin. Next, I hadthe angry cocktail shrimp thing…. The cocktail sauce had a little spice but wasn’t too intense. Kind of tasted like ahorseradish wasabi kind of heat. And then to keep going with my streak of eating only shrimp for some reason, I ordered theshrimp carbonara for my meal. This was truly delicious, and the pinnacle of all of my shrimp based dishes. The sauce was butteryand awesome, and the portion was perfect. I decided to deviate from the shrimp for a hot second to have some cocktails. Theywere all super good and got me sufficiently drunk. The perfect amount of buzzed to tolerate dining with my 6 best stupidfriends. Overall the place had a classy vibe, nice views of the river dam, and our server did an amazing job dealing with us.Would recommend coming here if you’re looking for a nicer place to eat that is slightly off the beaten path of downtown.

My steak wasn’t cooked they way I wanted so they remade it for me and took a percentage off my bill. There was a manager who cameto the table and offered me a salad or side while they cooked it. I’m not sure of his name but he had a Patagonia sweater onand was very kind and professional. Very good experience even on a busy Friday night! Thanks Fratellos
