My wife recently went to Fat Sammy's with her friends and received terrible treatment. The bartender and owners were disrespectful and even threatened her with jail. The drunken owner tried to take a drink from her friend and spilled it on her. I would not recommend this place if you want to be treated well. I have been there a few times for karaoke, hoping for a great experience, but the karaoke was a disappointment. The DJ only played music videos and we waited for hours to sing. If you are looking for a safe and enjoyable atmosphere, I would not recommend Fat Sammy's.
A friend threw up and wanted a water for her, but bartender insisted we had to pay for water!
I used to be a frequent customer at this restaurant, but this was the first time I felt uneasy. As a bartender myself, I understand the challenges of dealing with intoxicated individuals, but the situation here was not handled well and almost led to a physical altercation. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a enjoyable experience.
I live in Chicago, but I was visiting for my birthday. I brought family and friends here for karaoke, and we all had the best time! They even provide 3 mics, unheard of in Chicago!! Love this place!!
Absolutely love Fatammy's, great prices great employees great owners fun place to be pool DJ darts or else can you get it all
