I ordered the mocajete plate. I'm 50 years old and never tasted stripes of steak that disgusting. I had to throw the whole plate out because I was afraid I'd get sick. This is ordered 4p.m on a Saturday when they are bust. Absolute Garbage!

Never had an issue until today, 08/11/2024 One of the issues wasn 't just the food, but you have a lady there with attitude issues. She seemed very bothered and annoyed when I called and when I showed up to show the quality of the tacos I received. You, as a food and service business, have expectations of quality and service. I understand you won 't be perfect all the time, but it 's never been an issue. Today, Sunday 08/11/2024, around 6:38 pm I ordered 9 tacos as take out. All tacos I requested of corn tortilla. 3 of them Mexican Style the rest American Styles. As a regular when we 've ordered them before, so I know your food well. I got home and noticed some of the tacos were flour tortilla, no problem there. Then I opened the last one. I mean, you can look at the picture yourself and let me know if that 's your quality. I showed up around 7:20 pm. to return one order of tacos as soon as I walked in. This lady says, Are you here to complain or cause trouble? Who talks like that to customers. I asked for the manager, and she said she was the manager. I opened the container and showed her the tacos in the picture. I asked if that was your quality. She said that 's how you make them. I told her I come there often, I have never had tacos like this, and when I requested them corn tortilla, it had never been an issue. She said she would make me new ones, and I replied I 'd rather take my refund on those. When she gave me the refund, I asked her if she wanted the food back. She said she didn 't want that garbage back (her words in Spanish, no quiero ese cochinero, llevate ese cochinero contigo). I asked if there was a trash can, and she said, Not here. Take that garbage with you (her words in Spanish, no ay aqui llevate ese cochinero) she proved my point right there. So I walked out and dumped them in trash can in front of your establishment. It 's just sad to deal with people like that, especially at a restaurant.

From the moment we walked i... read more I've traveled all of the US and multiple countries for 4 years, and there isn't a place where I've felt more welcome than El Azteca. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we walked out we felt cared for, and like our experience was a personalizedone. Luis was the star of the show. If you are fortunate enough to have a table where Luis is serving you, you can rest assuredthat you'll have nothing less than the highest quality service one could ask for. Not only was he friendly and welcoming, but hepaid attention to what we were enjoying without us ever needing to say anything. A member of our party loved the hot sauces andspicy foods, and he went out of his way to offer a delicious sauce that would boost the flavor of his quesadilla. He wasconstantly checking in and clearing things without being intrusive, though we were happy to drop everything to soak in thesunshine he carried with him everywhere he went. Our party of three spent all evening talking about how much we loved and missedLuis, and we're already prime to change our schedules to visit again any time he works. He is the apple to our pie. I'vepersonally always had excellent experiences with the people here, but he took it to another level. Everyone here is wonderful -when I used a cane after burning my foot, every single person who passed, no matter how busy they were, stopped to make sure Iwas comfortable and cared for while waiting for a table. I was happy to wait with care like that! They deserved to be busy. If Icould afford to tip 100%, I always would when I eat here, as the quality of staff is unparalleled.
