The Royal George - Appledore

Probably the best meal I’ve had and the scenery, as I would expect for North Devon, breathtaking. Staff couldn’t be more obliging.

We had the most delicious lunch here. Amazing food and service. The views were fabulous too. We had a dog with us so limited to downstairs only, but completely understand that! Not everyone likes dogs. Was a little more expensive than your usual pub grub but absolutely worth it. Would definitely return and recommend.

My man and I booked a table last night, and our table was booked for 7 o'clock. when we came there, we were greeted immediately, with a smile and shown on our table. the service was the first class, and the eating was simply amazing, and the view of the table where we were sitting was breathing. the place itself, is also amazing, beautifully created, much space, and everything was just wonderful. the service, the food, the place and the view. and the prices are very good. a visit is great and we will return in contradiction. Thank you.

Wow! garth and his bands have made a wonderful job that restored this old appledore pub and reworked. tastefully decorated in the battleship gray with steam-punk fittings, there is a feeling of space and cozyness as they enter. the sleeper on the left side will be a combed place in winter. the upper floor has a restaurant area, a covered area with view of the mouth and an open area. a wonderful place for our post-lunch pint. we did not eat, but the menu looks great, very cheap and changed every day to reflect catches/season stuff. we're coming back!
