Sala's Hawaiian Slurp Shack - Apopka

The food is so good!! I tried the hot dogs, Kalua pork and Teriyaki beef. It's all so amazingly good. The atmosphere is great! Staff are always so nice when we go. The best part is dessert! The shaved ice is just as they do in Hawaii. This is one of my family favorite places to go.

I and my wife loved it! Loves the fresh food and the great staff. Super friendly and they loved to know customers there! We had the delicious food and dessert! It is now our new favorite place to go and eat now!

On October 9th, I had the pork sandwich with mango salsa. Yummy! A great big sandwich overflowing with pork. Now tell what those chips were. I couldn't stop eating them. I had a bite of the cheese steak my husband ordered and was about to be jealous til I looked down. You know cause pork is the other white meat, no guilt. Oh, and loved the fruit tea. It was relaxing to watch the power point of Hawaii. It was our 33rd Anniversary. We like to try new places.

I absolutely adore this place, and the forty minute drive time is always worth it. My brother is incredibly picky with food, part of his autism, and he very rarely likes even basic ice cream. I managed to get him to try their Banana Cream Pie ice cream and he just fell in love, Holy cow, that 's freaken amazing! He even braved a few samples and loved them all. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful if you 're not quite sure what to get. And the portions are just HUGE for their shaved ice, it 's always fun to see what neighboring tables have gotten. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and very accommodating. The owner helped me create a vegan dish that was perfect. My husband loved the Surfer Dog! We will definately be back.
