My husband ordered 15 medium wings, along with three 6-piece boneless meals: teriyaki, Thai chili, and orange sesame. Unfortunately, all three of the boneless meals came with onion rings that were so overcooked that the edges were burnt! Since we live in Pittsboro, we couldn't just run back to get them replaced, and they were inedible—just unpleasant. I tried calling the restaurant and pressed 2 to speak with someone, but I was disconnected twice. I’m really disappointed not only with the food quality but also with the inability to talk to a representative. I sincerely hope this is not the new standard for Apex Wings. In the past, I've always praised them for their great wings and quick service!

We enjoyed them so much that we returned on consecutive weekends. The location is a bit quirky, and the interior could use some updates. However, the sauces were outstanding, with an impressive variety to choose from. The wings were juicy with a nice crispy exterior and were on the larger side. We've tried two appetizers so far, both of which were delicious and generously portioned. The sandwiches also looked tempting. The service was excellent, especially considering the short staffing. The beer selection was impressive as well. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and will definitely be back!
