If you are looking for high quality sushi in the Triangle, you have found it. Akami delivers in selection of fish and exceptional quality. Everything is perfect, from the texture of the fish to the seasoning of the rice to the temperature of each component. Their service is attentive and polite. They put care and consideration into each dish and bite, and it shows. And yes, they are indeed connected to a gas station, which only adds to the charm of its sensational cuisine.
An amazing experience at Akami this Monday night. I was seated promptly and well taken care of. The Sake selection is divine and the sushi fresh and masterfully crafted right in front of you by owner Bird himself. The best sushi in the triangle without a doubt.
