I LOVE Carmichaels. Best pkace around fir a soecial occasion dinner. So of course, chose it for my fiancé 's’ birthday. Used Open Table to make the reservation.... read more I LOVE Carmichaels. Best pkace around fir a soecial occasion dinner. So of course, chose it for my fiancé 's’ birthday. Used Open Table to make the reservation... asked for Table 21... and oh yes... his birthday! Our celebratiry go to place! Arrived.. took in-the overwhelmingly gorgeous view...just as we remembered. Asked for our table.... ah yes....they say. Then....oops, sorry Booked by someone else. Escorted to another table. Order a espresso martini... regular one arrives. Oops! Oh.. BTW we don’t check our email often said waiter.. so sORRY about your table. What? You checked it far enough to get my reservation! Oops. Using our iPhones we read the menu. Xero visibility. Zero. Ordered. 45 minutes later.. dinner arrived cold. Sent back. Oops. No mention of birthday...and after a disappointing experience thus far... decided not to pursue it I do love the whole Carmichaels concept ... fine dining with a view that is unsurpassed on the island However, lighting and computer literate staff would help. And lights! Would I recommend it... yes. You need to experience it... but be aware of the details for a good ecperience
