Excellent restaurant. Great food. The menu may look a bit limited at first glance but every dish appeared to have an unique flavour. Not too much oil either. The Prawns tasted absolutely fresh. The location seems middle of nowhere. However, the venue its self is...nice and clean. Staff were good and appeared to be relatively well trained. Its one of those restaurants that you want to go again. I will not say more bec... View all feedback.
What Dena Rippin doesn't like about Kashi Indian Restaurant:
We have been to Kashi Indian Restaurant and had takeaway from there a number of times. We ordered takeaway last Saturday night. The prices here have been steadily rising. Excellent food, great service, friendly staff and a nice location. Perfect for a family outing. Probably the best food among the Indian restaurants in Sydney suburbs.
We were a party of 5 eating here recently and had the $55/head banquet. The food was lovely- maybe not hot enough for those who like more punch in their Indian cuisine but it was good for the mixed palates at our table. Our daughter could eat everything (she normally sticks to Tandoori and butter chicken (!)) We couldn't finish all the food and enjoyed 2 more meals from what we took home. The flavours were varied and fresh, the meat tender and there were none of the after effects that european diners may often experience!Maybe a bit expensive but we will certainly return with another mixed group. (Our age range 20-92!)
This is a good place in the hills area for great indian food that hits the mark for authenticity and is not your average curry house.
Varying reviews from friends, finally triedIndian food was just ok reallyNot amazingThe prices are EXTREMELY inflated for the quality of food.
The food was mediocre, we had the mixed platter, fish was ok, seekh kebab was good and chicken tikka seemed microwaved couple of times as it was dry and
