We went for a graduation dinner. They have a prix fixe menu costing $125 that was booked 8 months in advance. We booked an 8:00 pm slot for 11 people. Paid $275 in advance to secure the seats. We arrived on time and were told that the party before us arrived late so therefore we will be seated late. We were told that the party before us was enjoying their dessert. This was unacceptable to me as we were now being penalized through no fault of our own. Only after I complained were we offered a meager charcuterie plate while we waited. We were not seated until 8:30, and our orders were placed at 8:40. Our food did not arrive until 9:15. Now, I understand that plating for 11 takes time, but when I am spending $1700 on a menu in which the options are fairly limited (again, prix fixe and I am seated late (so what’s the point of a reservation? , I am going to be much more critical of every little misstep. The waiting staff clearly do not know how to manage a party this large, unable to keep glasses filled or serve without reaching over patrons without apology. The food is very unimpressive for this price point. If it was priced at $50 75/plate, I could give it a pass, as it was not outwardly bad food, but it did not impress by any means. Also, the drinks Coke, ginger beer, lemonade were incredibly watered down. Due to the late start and generally slow service, our dinner concluded at around 11 pm. A 20% gratuity is already included in the bill. Despite everything mentioned as above, it is amazing to me that they had the audacity to include this in our experience. This totaled approximately $1700 for 11 people. My recommendations: do not come here if you have a large party during graduation time. Skip the prix fixe menu here and enjoy dinner elsewhere. Reservations are meaningless here around this time (we were not the only ones asked to wait, but we were asked to wait the longest due to our large party . I will never be returning here and strongly discourage others to visit.
My friends and I stopped by for appetizers and drinks. It was the best calamari I have ever had so far. We also ordered the crab cakes. Delicious. I can't remember our servers name, but he was amazing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Calamari
