My husband and I ordered the biryani rice bowl with tandoori chicken and sweet potato fries, along with tandoori chicken tacos. The tacos were absolutely delicious! However, I was a bit disappointed with the portions. The rice bowl was satisfying, and I really enjoyed the tandoori chicken—it was flavorful, tender, and delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the biryani rice; it lacked flavor and was slightly overcooked. I also tried turano for the first time, which are egg rolls filled with banana. I loved them! They reminded me of the banana fritters my mom used to make. We also ordered crushed ice, which was delightful—a mix of crushed ice, ice cream, and jelly. Overall, it was a tasty experience!
My firsts experience eating at lolas was a catering we had ordered for a small get together we had a little while ago. It was a huge hit! The lumpia was everyone’s favorite part but all around the whole meal was a 10/10. Even my picky eater of friend loved it. I will be back to eat at their restaurant and I recommend everyone try their catering at least once. Also the service was amazing they are so friendly.
This is likely the finest Pakistani restaurant in the area. Everything on the menu is incredible. Lovers of spicy food will especially enjoy this place, but there are also many choices for those who prefer milder dishes. Their bubble teas are excellent, and their chai tea latte is delightful as well. If you're in the mood for a sweet treat, Lola's halo halo is the best shaved ice you'll ever taste! Additionally, they offer a wide range of gluten-free and dairy-free options.
Lola's is a true hidden gem! I really appreciate that they offer recommended bowl options, as well as the chance to customize your own. Vegetarians and vegans will find plenty of choices too. If you enjoy a bit of heat, they have spicier sauces available, but you can also opt for milder flavors. I ordered the crispy tofu bowl, and it was fantastic! The tofu was perfectly crunchy and had just the right amount of sauce. I also sampled their Filipino egg rolls, which were wonderfully crispy and full of flavor. For dessert, don’t miss out on the halo halo. It’s a delightful mix of slushie and ice cream, combined with creamy and fruity goodness. I've never tasted anything like it before, and I absolutely loved it! Another impressive aspect is their commitment to sustainability by partnering with a compost company to handle all their waste, making them a more eco-friendly restaurant!
