Stracathro is a service area beside the road between Aberdeen and the central belt. There are few places trucks can stop, and I’ve stopped there in the past for... read more Stracathro is a service area beside the road between Aberdeen and the central belt. There are few places trucks can stop, and I’ve stopped there in the past for a coffee, food and use of facilities. We stopped today as we thought it would be open as there were a few trucks parked up. In fact though it was middle of the afternoon on a weekday the cafe was shut, the parking area was like the surface of the moon, and there was only 1 toilet available in the nearby service station. This is really not good enough for a major service area on a major Scottish route. Are the Scot gov completely relying on private services to provide and when they go out of business or close that’s it folks?
