The food here is absolutely delicious! So far, we’ve tried the brisket, turkey, and smoked turkey, and we have not been disappointed. The sides are fantastic as well! The brisket reminds me of the incredible brisket I had in Austin, TX. We only did take-out once, but the staff and customer service were outstanding—always friendly and welcoming! We highly recommend this wonderful gem of a restaurant! View all feedback.

My husband, my in laws and I tried this for the first time last weekend. The food was mediocre. We had high hopes as we love supporting smaller businesses. We just weren’t big fans. View all feedback.
Brisket sandwich is amazing. You have to try it at least once. I'd suggest chopped over sliced, but both are fantastic. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was the better BBQ restaurant about 18 months ago, but the service and food went from ok to 'will not part with our money here again ' very suddenly. The last time we went as a family for a sit down meal, we had to be honest the whole restaurant felt dirty. The floors were greasy and you could literally feel it walking on the floor. Our order was wrong etc.. then the past 3 times we decided not to eat in, but to take out food to eat at home. Every time we checked on google to make sure they are open and every time we got to the restaurant they closed at 2:30pm -we witnessed other customers also very annoyed when they realized it was closed. Last night send hubby to get some brisket, meatloaf, coleslaw, corn pudding and fries. The brisket was totally burned and the meatloaf had something that looked like fries in. The corn pudding very spicy ? Yes spicy corn pudding. And the fries very soggy and tasted old. We really fo and want to support small businesses, but to eat here is now a wasteof money. Hubby and me both felt sick after the meal. Angier does not have a lot of choice when it come to good food. At least we still have a couple of pizza takeaways and Mexican restaurants left..
