Was User at New Rainbow a mag?
The food was excellent, as always. I decided to share pictures of their current menu from October 24, 2018, in the photo section since I couldn't find it anywhere else, and the ones I did find were quite blurry. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about New Rainbow:
the food we received was good; when we got home, we lacked our order. I called the restaurant and went through the 3rd grade, even through every container we had received. when they were convinced that it was actually missing, my man went to lift it. no apologies, my man had to go through our reception again. we don't need to steal food, we just wanted what we paid for. last visit this place! Cozy little restaurant with fantastic value! We enjoyed every bite of the food we ordered. Although the dining area is closed, the service was quick, and the food was outstanding. Overall, we rated it: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
As a transplant from Chicago, I’ve found it quite challenging to locate good Chinese food in the area. After reading a review about New Rainbow, I decided to give it a shot. The food was prepared quickly, the staff was friendly, and we were in and out in no time. I ordered chicken and broccoli, while my husband opted for sweet and sour chicken and crab rangoon. The food stayed fresh and hot during our 15-17 minute drive home. It was absolutely delicious—exactly what we've been looking for. We will definitely be returning!
The food was terrible. I spent $60.00, and the chicken tasted off. The wonton soup we ordered in a quart size was actually egg drop soup that was so thick it looked like snot (sorry to say). And how do you mess up white rice? It seemed to be just scraps from the sides of the pan. I will never go back there. I should have just gone to our usual spot, New Rainbow at Hilltop and 401.
The food we ordered was tasty; however, when we got home, we realized that part of our order was missing. I called the restaurant and had to explain the situation in detail, going through each container we had received. Once they were finally convinced that something was indeed missing, my husband went to pick it up. There was no apology offered, and he had to review our receipt all over again. We have no interest in taking food without paying; we simply wanted what we had already paid for. This will be our last visit to this restaurant!
