pleasant setting, nice welcome and excellent meat. the accompaniments (summs of granaille lands, jams, small dice of mushrooms with garlic) were perfect. We also enjoyed the desserts (from home). a selection of local wines (and organic for some) accordingly. we opted for an anjou village brissac bablut 2014. short to redo! View all feedback.
What Margaret Salmon doesn't like about L'Etal Gourmand:
we went to 3 because the comments were overall good. a tender, but very fat, 150 g rib and a hotel master butter served next to the meat so impossible to melt it. the dice-cut potatoes had to cook in a clean oil bath because very indigestes and the taste not top. the dessert I chose to know vanilla lost bread was excellent and original. However, I will not go back because no value for money. View all feedback.
Burgunds of passage on angers and that it is a good surprise to discover such a restaurant. Being a meat fairy, I had a very good time, the meat is excellent! as well as the entrance and dessert, a mellow with divine chocolate. a magical meal !!!!! thank the chef !
Very good meat restaurant that knows how to combine conviviality with a service and a passionate and smiling staff as well as a certain quality by the products that are offered! moreover the concept of meat with weight is quite original and allows small and large eaters to find themselves there. the lyonnais corkscrew makes the greedy stall a small bistro full of qualities for parties in love, with friends or with family!

We used TA to find a local restaurant. This one featured reviews, mostly by French diners, so had to be tried. The concept is they offer meat, you pay by weight of the uncooked food. I went for a lamb dish, my partner, entrecote. The proprietor was friendly, helpful, didn't speak much enblush but we communicated fine. We had 3 courses, we were given a nice Strawberry liqueur to finish. The food was well cooked, really tasty. We were the only diners that night which concerned us initially but we were told it was because it was so hot. Sure enough, on the way home, the bars were full, but restaurants empty. A great night out at a restaurant we would have passed by had we not read Trip Advisor reviews.
Very good restaurant good quality price. the plates are very well presented and everything is homemade. I'd go back there without a problem.
