The Vov - Andiambalama West

We arrived at the location a bit perplexed as it looked like it was a home but carried on through the gates and luckily saw tables and chairs tucked around the corner. As soon as we entered the eatery we were welcomed. Menu was explained and cold water poured. I had a large pepperoni pizza and husband had mock meat burger with fries. Pizza cheese was great, vegan cheese is always my worry but I thought I’d risk it as they had loads of varieties of pizza, the cheese is made on premises with their own recipe. The pizza was massive with loads of toppings, so much that I had to give in and take the rest of it home in a box (but not before I heard there was a freshly made strawberry cheese which I added to my takeaway order). Husband enjoyed his burger too. This place is definitely worth a visit.

I simply love The VoV! Every vegan visiting Colombo NEEDS to go there, AT LEAST once Food is great, all the delicious junk food essentials are covered. Try the BBQ pizza, my favorite! The owner Shashika is so friendly, he is also a 100% ethical vegan and an activist, how amazing is that! Can’t wait to go back to Colombo to get back to The VoV

The food is outstanding and the service very lovely. The menu has everything that you could desire. Tasty burgers and pizza as well as delicious salads

Make sure you try this place out, you won’t be disappointed! The owner is an ethical vegan who has put all of his savings into this business, he needs our support way more than other restaurants go eat his awesome food! Great vegan food. The Hawaiian pizza (not sure if that was the exact name) was so good that we came by a second night in a row to have it again! The burgers were also really good. My favorite vegan restaurant in Colombo.
