Was Yako Collins at Fred Meyer a mag?
I got to say out of all the biggies Fred Meyer is my favorite. It’s a step up from Walmart. They could work on their app a little with showing you what isle the items are in. Maybe a big bold isle number. But overall I love the place. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Fred Meyer:
Eventually, she asked why I was looking at her, and I replied that I wanted her to see me scan everything since she seemed to think I was going to steal something. Despite my efforts to show that I had no intention of stealing, she continued to stand there without watching anyone else. I felt completely degraded. Was it because I was a local using the self-checkout? I did fill out a survey and requested someone to co... View all feedback.
Mmmm, discolored pepperonis. Anchorage Alaska Northern Lights Blvd and Debarr road. The worst self checkout conveyor belt store. Kroger Corporation is replacing humans with automation and have rude gray haired ladies chastizing people trying to scan their overpriced and fresh for NO ONE fruits and vegetables. Charge you for bags that fail. Fred Meyer should be sued. See photos below. Also watch out for deceptive prices labeled on their products. Sometimes the digital deal is no deal at all. See attached photo.
Midtown Fred Meyer is always a fantastic place to visit, especially when you’re unsure of what you want. They offer competitive deals, and I appreciate being able to check their weekly and special advertisements online, which is something I can’t say about some other retailers. Their prices are consistently good, and the staff is always friendly. The only minor drawback I can mention is that they don’t have many hand baskets available for shopping. They usually have plenty of carts, but I often find myself searching for hand baskets.
I had a concerning experience at the store recently. A woman, whom I believe is named Arlene, followed me while I was shopping and even called security on me when I went to return a carton of strawberries. I reported the incident to the manager, Kim, but she told me it wasn't her concern. It seems this attitude may be reflected in Arlene's behavior. I plan to report both of them to customer service since it's generally not acceptable for employees to follow customers in the store. It appears that Manager Kim is dismissive of such behavior, which is troubling.
10/06/23 - This store offers a bit of everything, including souvenirs. If you're having trouble finding something, you can rely on one of the many friendly employees for assistance. I was impressed by how helpful everyone was when I asked for help, and I never felt like I was inconveniencing them. I found the prices to be reasonable for this area. Additionally, they carry Dunford donuts and Mexican bread, with the bread being cheaper here than at the bakery. If you're in need of anything, be sure to stop by! I didn't take many pictures during my visit, as I ended up doing a FaceTime call to shop.
The food is average; otherwise, it would be a three-star review. However, the location is fantastic for a quick lunch or for grabbing something to keep the kids satisfied while you finish shopping in peace. While not all the food is subpar, there are a few dishes that are really quite excellent. It's just that not everything matches that standard.
