What John Blom doesn't like about Wasabi Ames:
Ordered what was labeled as Korean bulgogi, it hardly tasted like it should. We have lived in both Korea and Japan for many years. There was no marinade. It was flat, no garlic, sesame seed nor oil, no sugar, and very little if any soy sauce. The beef quantity and quality was good, however. We love wasabi. great eating, great ambiente, there is something for everyone.
Great sushi in a clean restaurant. the service was very fast on a busy Friday night. parking is too small, about half the size it must be.
Food was great and service was wonderful. Definitely will be coming back soon.
We are parents of an Iowa State student here for the weekend. We could not have been more satisfied with our experience at Wasabi. Our server was great, food was amazing and the value was superb. We will be back!
Sushi party platter and a few appetizers for our party of five worked out great! We had great service, a nice spot in the restaurant and enjoyed our food and time together!
