I order from this place several times a week, and I always get the same dish: the Hulk Mac with extra pesto. I think they try to accommodate me, but they don’t quite realize how obsessed I am with pesto. What Joe D doesn't like about Macubana:
The experience was quite nice overall. The service was a bit sluggish during the lunch rush, though. The fried plantains were tasty for a small town in Iowa, but they couldn’t quite compare to what you’d find in a major city. On the plus side, the place was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. However, I felt the prices were slightly on the high side for the quality of the food. View all feedback.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the food is amazing! You definitely have to try the MacAttack!
The pull pork and chicken sandwich are delicious, and so is the mango smoothie.
Large drink menu. I felt like the food menu was limited. Several kinds of mac and cheese. Over all good experience.
Went here specifically for the vegan Cubano. It was good...but not great. Yucca fries were awesome (order without aoli. Good beer and booze selection.
Eclectic bar with a cuban touch. Empanadas de queso were great. Awesome poutine. Great cuban sandwiches. It has a large variety of long islands and several beers on tap.
