What User doesn't like about The Mucky Duck Pub:
Atmosphere was not my vibe. When I was there on a Monday evening the crowd was early 20 's and quiet. I like a busier bar scene with a more classic music choice that gets people mouthing the words and tapping their feet. The German Platter dessert was very good! Great outside seating area. If you like a quiet bar/restaurant scene with good food, you should like this place. Service was a little slow but not bad. View all feedback.
The drinks and service were excellent. The atmosphere, in terms of the clientele, was fantastic as well. People wore masks when necessary, and everyone was warm and welcoming. I'm definitely looking forward to trying the food on my next visit!
What a fantastic spot! We enjoyed our meal on the patio and ordered the Bangers and Mash along with the Chicken, Bacon, and Swiss sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. Delicious! The outdoor atmosphere is really nice, and they have an incredible selection of beers. Our service was excellent too!
The tenderloin sandwich was the best I have ever had!! Service was great and the COVID protocols were followed completely!
Good food, good service, and good drinks. What more could your ask for? Not much seating and it's a super small space.
Being a Brit living in Iowa this is my go to place for authentic british food, best fish n chips around
