The gyro was good, but the Cuban was... read more UPDATE! 2nd visit I was able to make a stop and tried the gyro and a Nerd Long Island! The drink was fruity and fabulous . The gyro was good, but the Cuban was better. Best kept secret. I've lived near Ames most of my life and have never tried Cafe Beaudelaire. Based on a recommendation from a coworker, I decided to try it for lunch. I had the Cuban sandwich and wasn't disappointed! I look forward to returning and trying something different (and a long Island when I don't have to return to work).

We had a little bit of a wait during the lunch rush and we were a little crammed in there, but staff was really friendly. Overall a great experience ???? (I highlyrecommend the tiramisu)
