What Pete C doesn't like about Aunt Maude's:
The children's burgers appeared appetizing. The salad I had was mediocre and left me feeling unwell all afternoon before eventually getting sick. The server was friendly, but the restaurant had a strange 70s-esque atmosphere. View all feedback.
Very delicious! I ordered the darkened chicken yellow hair and it came with a partial salad. it had great aromen. the hunch was embarrassing as expected. the angels had sweet and cream in it. I would go back and literally order the same. the bistro size is a perfect part that they can make from a meal or even 2 tiny portions if they want.
I eat here often. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious and flavorful. The portion size is just right to large depending on the dish. The prices are on the higher end of average, but I would call it a bargain considering the quality. It is easily my favorite restaurant in Ames, and among the best in Iowa.
Service was good, thanks Melissa for your friendly helpfulness. The starter salad was fresh and tasty, I absolutely will recommend and return for the Jambalaya. Fun dessert!
We went for a day late Valentine’s dinner and was not disappointed! Noah at the bar took care of us and we couldn’t have asked for better service…. Amazing! The chef Steve was very helpful with menu items and both had the best customer service. The food was wonderful and don’t skip dessert…. Delicious!!!
Lunch menu was good. Wonderful portion sizes. Salmon was perfectly cooked.very lovely place.
