Highly highly highly recommend. Did not think we could get great Italian food like this in the Lake District. Fresh and hot food and attentive customer service. Be sure to visit if you’re here. We came in the evening (8pm), so was nice and quiet. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Having come from New York City, where finding amazing Italian food is a challenge, especially as a celiac in search of gluten-free pasta, I can't recommend Misto highly enough. The service was fantastic and the food, from start to finish, was incredible. We started with the king prawns and Camembert, both of which were delicious. Mixing the two together was a game changer. They even offer gluten-free bread on the side. For our main courses, I opted for the king prawn linguine (they only had penne as the gluten-free option, which was still great) while my companion tried the Pollo Milanese with linguine (not gluten-free but still amazing). Despite being too full, we couldn't resist taking home a Vesuvio gluten-free pizza. I highly recommend Misto for its exceptional food, service, atmosphere, and wine selection. It truly exceeded all expectations.
Very enjoyable meal at Misto. Staff is very helpful and works so hard. No reservations, just walk-ins, so expect to wait a while if it's busy. We waited 40 mins before being seated indoors. It's worth a visit as there are a few choices for something different.. Didn't get a 5 star because it is not exactly authentic Italian food, but it's very tasty. Service: Dine in
