The views over the river from the terrace are so peaceful. Tried an assortment of regional pasteries. All were excellent. Enough sugar for the day!

It was raining that day but the view of the... read more I stopped here as a part of a tour I was on to the Douro Valley. We stopped here for coffee and some local pastries. It was raining that day but the view of the river was still a beautiful view. I would definitely return again on a clear day for the view alone as well as the great coffee pastries and other treats.
