I'm here 22 years ago with my parents when I worked on a cruise ship. I came here after all the years with my family and found the exact same place where my father could choose his fish from the refrigerator. the harbour had changed a lot into a chic cruise port, scandalous because it lost its authenticity. my father died 21 years ago, so it was an extra emotional visit. eating is still perfect after all these years. the prices are good, waiters are nice. I hope to be back in 20 years or so
Great food. amazing personal. in the world. second drink in the house. free plate of calamari, free frits. beautiful view 5 meters from sea line.
Katakolon is a two street village built for the cruise industry and there are lots and lots of restaurants in the front row, we chose this one as it looked more 'authentic. ' Food was okay, nothing special and nothing bad about it. The pressure for tipping was a bit sharp, particularly as the service was pretty average.
