A marina front facing restaurant, one of many with outdoor seating. Sat down and ordered grilled sardines. Then out came stale bread and olives and the sardines. The table next to me had olive oil so I asked the server if I could have some and dribbled it over the sardines. Yummy. Thr marinated olives were a bit salty but I thought it was a standard offering (not). When I asked for the bill, I noticed an additional 4 euros. The maitre d came over and said it was for the olive oil. And the 1.80 euros for the bread and olives that they took upon themselves to serve me that I never ordered. This is taking complete advantage of a tourist who might not have given a second look at the bill or too embarrassed to ask. Only when I asked about the charge did he remove the 4 euros from the bill but not before asking if I wanted to add a tip. I don't mind paying for whatever it is I order but slipping in hidden charges is very unappetizing.
Food on the wave. Nice location, big portions, good prices and kind staff. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
