Location We visited the Eracela with the Schlemmerblock. From Mannheim-Neckarau you take the reliably swinging car-fast ferry and choose whether the alleen-like bank road, directly on holiday. The restaurant is centrally located in the center of Altrip at the beginning of the Speyer road near the water tower. Ambience The Eraclea consists in principle of a large L-shaped space without great delimitation to the other tables. During our visit there was a loudly strong group of women who had probably already had one or the other champagne. In general, you don't feel uncomfortable here - yet the facility is something too economical to me personally. Eating We had a slumber block and therefore enjoyed a somewhat larger appetizer: an Italian appetizer dish at €12. They definitely rewarded themselves: appealingly arranged with a huge selection of treats: crab cocktail, gambas, melon with proscuttio ham, salmon, mushrooms and much more. As the main course we decided on a pizza with ruccola and parmas ham (6,50 €) and a pizza with mushrooms and artichokes. Both pizzas were good...for tasty, the dough would have to be slightly thinner and baked in a wood oven. Service The service was quite friendly and the service was also fine. After the lush appetizer we didn't get the pizzas and read the rest. We had to pay a surcharge of 50 cents for the pizza box.
