This restaurant is on playa Altea the number 10 bus goes there from Benidorm and number 27 bus goes there from up by the old town get the bus at end of Calle San Miguel when up by Sant Joesph 3

We... read more We went for an evening out with friends in Altea on Sunday evening and decided to go into Sands Bar for a drink after a leisurely stroll along the promenade. We was welcomed with a smile and the service and hospitality was brilliant. Drink portions were generous and the complimentary chicken wings went down a treat with our ciders. I will definitely be visiting this establishment again and wish the owners the best of luck, oh and I will go for a steak next time as they are legendary....... :

A refreshing change i... read more Came into Sands on the recommendation of a family member. Wow!!! Best steak I've ever tasted. Friendly staff who take time to talk to you. A refreshing change in this day and age. Steak was nothing fancy but a good steak does not need all the frills. Will definitely recommend and come back again.
