Sands - Altea

A bar is only as good as it's staff and customers this bar has a great atmosphere with friendly staff. Good music and excellent food!

Bar staff (lady) very helpful and friendly, this is a Dutch bar serves Corona which we like, didn’t eat here but food on screen looked tasty. This restaurant is on playa Altea the number 10 bus goes there from Benidorm and number 27 bus goes there from up by the old town get the bus at end of Calle San Miguel when up by Sant Joesph 3

We went for an evening out with friends in Altea on Sunday evening and decided to go into Sands Bar for a drink after a leisurely stroll along the promenade. We was welcomed with a smile and the service and hospitality was brilliant. Drink portions were generous and the complimentary chicken wings went down a treat with our ciders. I will definitely be visiting this establishment again and wish the owners the best of luck, oh and I will go for a steak next time as they are legendary....... :

What a great find! This place has a semi circular bar which is great to sit and chat to other customers. A very friendly place where we went visited on more than one occasion. Great atmosphere and spotless!
