The food was nearly perfect. There were plenty of parking spaces available. The staff, who were friendly young individuals, took my order and prepared the food. I particularly enjoyed the hot dog special with some incredibly delicious fries. The entire experience was greatly enhanced by this. I will definitely come back when I am in the area again. I was optimistic to try them out based on the rave reviews. I took one bite of the Italian beef and my taste buds quickly realized that familiar taste.... overcooked beef which literally tastes like Italian rubber..the pizza puff was blah. I always call ahead my order is ready in the time they tell me and it's always correct. They have a wide variety and it's very tasty.
Great food. Check out Laura"s next door when there if you want. No kids though. It's a gambling place and good people and atmosphere. It is a 5 star place. They don't serve food but snacks and pop and water and coffee are free. I think whomever goes there will like it just as much as Poor Boy.
