Was in Alpine last week and stopped by right before 2pm there were quite a few people in line and in the seating area enjoying their food. Cow Dog had excellent reviews when located in Alpine. Cow Dog is no longer in Alpine, TX. The recording on the phone says they moved to Marathon, TX. We drove to Marathon and possibly didn't look hard enough but didn't see Vow Dog there. View all feedback.
Pretty darn tasty. Those tater things are nice. Would be cool if they had fries too tho.

Hands down the best hot dog I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely delicious! Staff is super friendly!!!!
Yummy! The are all super nice and helpful. The food is amazing too! With over 10 different choices of hotdogs and other foods, several visits are recommended to try them all out. New to Alpine? Get yourself a Cowdog!
Delicious ! Had the El Pastor and the Artisan Truly good, and hit all the spots juicy, warm, tasty, heartwarming. Plus the staff was so kind!! I'd definitely go if I were you.
